In honour of International Women’s Day, we are proud to launch our new campaign. YOUR STORY heroically champions the stories of four extraordinary women from our community. Each embodying strength, resilience, and the diverse experiences of womanhood. 

“I have always wanted children, and it felt like it would be a given, as so many girls and young women think in our society. It is the narrative we are told.”

Kate, a single woman was determined to have a family even if that meant going through it alone. At thirty-seven years old she made the brave decision to commence the path of solo motherhood. Kate is now mother to her beautiful five year old son.

After ten years of uncertainty and distress, Autum finally received the diagnosis that long eluded her. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Endometriosis and PCOS, conditions that had quietly shaped her life for years.

“I can remember my youngest experience of bringing up what I now know to be symptoms of these conditions was in my high school years. Unfortunately, like so many others, it took over ten years to finally understand what was happening inside of my own body.”

Raising a family of two sons, Tash is deeply shaped by her experience of motherhood, balancing work and family and confronting life’s challenges head on. Tash shares with us her refreshing perspective, reminding us that life isn’t about having everything figured out.

“Because at the end of the day, life is about embracing the chaos, laughing through the missteps, and focusing on what truly matters.”

Belle’s journey has been marked by profound loss and hardship, including the death of her father after a brave battle with cancer, the quiet grief of miscarriage, and the painful end of a long-term relationship. Despite these challenges, she has discovered an inner strength she never knew she had.
